How can I apply to become a Prestigious Model?
You can apply by simply filling out a talent application form online which is located on our website. Be sure to also submit a headshot and photos of yourself to complete your talent application.
What else is required besides filling out the model application form?
Everyone goes through an intensive and lengthy process. If you receive a call back from a member of our staff you will be required to submit your audition video electronically. Upon reaching this stage we will be observing your follow up skills, how quickly you respond to our emails, and how well you take direction during this casting stage. Your performance during this assessment period will allow us to recognize the level of professionalism you currently have to represent our brand. Personality is the number one qualification to become an official Prestigious Model.
Is there a certain height requirement in your agency?
Even though our height requirement is 5’6 and taller, if you show promise that you have a stellar personality through your video submission, we would love to have you on our team. We believe we can make anyone beautiful. We’ll be able to know right away after one casting session.
Why is it required for applicants to submit an audition video online?
Video submission is the initial face meeting to ensure us that you’re serious about your career. We’re looking for models that can take direction well, are comfortable speaking in front of a camera, and are excited about meeting new people. Your video submission will allow us to see the authenticity within yourself to determine if you have those wonderful personalities and necessary qualities or not.
What are some of the requirements you look for in a talent?
Our models are required to be independent, self-maintained, and highly sociable representatives with stellar personalities working in a dynamic team environment to become product specialists. Our talents are required to show up ready to go with glamorous makeup and fashionable attires at these special events. All of our projects require a lot of team work, where we support each other at the events, share rooms, and travel worldwide as a team. Everyone should be self-disciplined, responsible, and confident inside and out, while at the same time being able to adapt to any environment. We will NOT tolerate any inappropriate behavior, whininess, or diva-like attitudes.
Will you be providing any training so we can be well prepared for the job?
We will help train models, get test shoots, layout portfolios, and put together online comp cards and other printed materials models need. We will provide you with all the necessary tools with proper business etiquette, makeup & hair styling lessons, appropriate fashion wardrobe, and beauty tips; so you are always showing up embracing your international superstar look.
Why are we required to be proactive with Social Media?
It is extremely important to develop your personal brand to engage your followers through Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube. Companies are determining how valuable you are with the amount of followers you have, capabilities of blog postings, maintaining a video diary, and the daily interaction you make with your followers through Twitter where you will be known as Social Media experts.
What type of work does Prestigious Models obtain for their models?
We obtain spokesmodel positions where they travel around the world performing as Spokesmodel for high profile companies. We specialize in staffing our models for touring series traveling worldwide in the poker, gaming, & automotive industry.
What are the names of the events Prestigious Models currently manage and staff models at?
We staff our models at an array of events such as The World Poker Tour (13 + cities touring worldwide), Electronic Arts/Need for Speed (8 + cities touring worldwide), Asian Poker Tour (International Macau & Hong Kong), Formula Drift (7 + cities in United States), Ice Game Trade Show (London) and WOW/Autorama (10 + cities in United States) among others events. What if I don’t have any professionally images? Can I still submit my own images?
Yes, you can still submit if you do not have professional images. However, it is highly recommended that all applicants have professional images. Snap shot images tend to yield a lower chance for a call back. The main key to a model’s success is the quality of her portfolio. Your first impression can drive the rest of your career development.
What if I don’t have any money to invest into a portfolio, will you still represent me?
If we feel you have the potential and qualities to become an outstanding talent, we will sign you under an “Exclusive Management” agreement. We will invest into the development of your portfolio to jump start your career.
What does “Exclusive Management” agreement mean?
“Exclusive” means the industry loves your look and most likely you will be booked more consistenly. The agency will need to manage your schedule so we can send you out on castings.
Does “Exclusive” mean we cannot work with anyone else?
During Exclusive term, we ask that you do not go out on jobs without our consent to avoid being double booked. Being in an exclusive relationship is like a partnership. It requires a mutual understanding that both parties are collectively working together towards your career goals. If a job offering is presented to you directly or outside of Prestigious Models’ scope of work, you should direct it to you manager immediately so we can maximize and explore the opportunities for you directly.
How do I know if I am chosen?
Applicants that pass the initial screening phase will receive a follow up telephone interview. Depending on the outcome of the interview, along with other factors, a decision will be rendered regarding acceptance of your audition video submission.
What if I do not hear back from Prestigious Models? Should I resubmit my application?
Prestigious Models encourages you to resubmit your application, especially if you feel your qualifications have improved. It is great to demonstrate persistence in achieving your goals and dreams.
